CCR Question #2 Draft

Its easy for me to understand what my audience and readers like due to me being the same or close in age with them so i know what attracts our attention like having people out there or a magazine being able to say what we say or would like to. We connect through all forms of media so our main spread would through the web but our secondary spread is through mail. Both are effective for my generation and easiest for our ages.   I only know what my generation knows and feels with our shared information so with my audience engagement research i talked to many people my age and i asked them what they thought was most important to my topic, most told me how they are tired of being judged by older generations that dont approve of our times fashion chooses but aleast half dont say anything due to being call disrespectful or getting a bad image attached. So being able to make this magazine to speak against this was very approved and i was told that most of my generation and a littl...

CCR Question #1 Draft

My title is simple but elegant like that of 'fashion' magazine, they have very simple covers but they always have a way of making you see the main focus. I also used the convention of having the title appear infront the model. I alike every magazine used some hooks on the cover page to draw you into actually picking up the magazine along with a quote from someone involved in my socail group of fashion; not seen as much as though. Mine is from Bill Cunningham an american fashion photographer for the New York Times.   My table of contents is where its most conventional going along with what most magazines use such as big numbers, mid shots, colums of topics to pick from and pictures of many different people. Athough not seen to much, it also includes the issue in the table and the cover.    The two page spread is were my social group is more clear due to my article of teenage fashion chooses and the impowerment of it. Their are two major groups that are seen,...

CCR Question #4 Draft

I used the Canon EOS Rebel T6 Camera for my pictures and i changed the setting a couple of times to random ones but i kept to setting at portrait mode for the rest of them, flash off.    I used InDesign's select tools, type tool, rectangle frame tool, hand tool, zoom tool, and the line tool to actually make my magazine be official.    I also used photoshops dodge tool, spot healing brush tool, color adjustments and brightness/contrast adjustment to fix anything i didn't like, bushes or light in the wrong spot.    And lastly powerpoint to talk about the magazine, using home, insert, animation and slideshow. How did you incorporate technology in the process?

CCR Question #3 Draft

My production skills develop pretty fast during this process. I learned to use InDesign to make my magazine, i picked up the skill quickly and it ended up being my favorite thing to use. We first learned it in class and it was just my go to from there because it was simply to use but had a lot of things that could pull together and make a magazine.    I had to learn to use the camera which was easy, the picture came out how i wanted them although every once in a while i used the flash by accident. The different settings were something that i messed with lot the first time around but the other times i kept it at one setting and adjust whatever i didn't like in Photoshop. Im not sure Photoshop can be considered one because i learned that in another class but i did use it to make the magazine.     My models were the best i could ask for, they knew what to do and i didn't really have to direct them i just gave them a location and they worked wit...

Distribution reasearch #3

Image
Virtual distribution is the last aspect of distribution. This where they sell produces by the web, using social media and online things to spread out which is common now in days, its the best way to get to your targeted audience if they are younger or farther away. For example many magazines can get their product across seas without actually having the product go over their because of it being virtual. So being able to get things like the two below are easier.

Distribution research #1

Image
The distribution system is like a bee hive, the queen bee makes workers so those workers can go out and collect pollen to come back and produce honey. The company makes their articles and makes the magazines to send them out to stands, shops, and offices to reach the people; bring back the money they made. This is the only way i can understand it. This follows the marketing channels which is the diagram below but also financial activities from banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies.
